On the contrary belief that posture takes effort to maintain, the truth is the aligned posture is very easy and comfortable to sustain. On the other hand, a stressful posture puts pressure on the digestive track and heart which reduces the blood flow to the organs, increases the effort in time needed to digest food and properly absorb nutrients. Prolonged sitting, weak core and poor alignment combined with unhealthy diet destroys your health.

Why PPTPOSTURE doesn't teach stretching?
Your pet that is seemingly stretching, is not stretching at all. It is contracting as it is elongating. While kids naturally bounce, jump, run and climb... They do not stretch.
When stretching, we do not stretch only muscles, we also stretch the connective tissue that gives body the resilience and elasticity. The stretching damages the elasticity and weakens the tissue. In other words, we loose strength and become injury prone with stretching.
Instead of stretching, PPTPOSTURE teaches how to articulate joints and move via fascial connections. So, that the transference of energy passes through the body equally, creating a balanced toning quality throughout the whole structure. PPTPOSTURE calibrates you for optimal performance. Otherwise, an imbalanced area will create compensation in other areas, eventually leading to an injury.
If you are attending a class and you are not completely articulated, you will increase your risk. Also, what you need is very different from what the other person needs. You need to work on your own body in a private session and not on someone else's body in the group class.
What you are doing during the day is more important than what you do in one hour class. Lets say you are all day at the computer or hold yourself in the certain way constantly, one hour class cannot undo the damage. You need to incorporate postural techniques into your daily life now.
